Prepare for the physical and emotional aspects of postpartum healing and recovery with a deeper understanding of what your body and mind may experience in the weeks after birth. This class offers a supportive space to learn, reflect, and feel more at ease as you transition into postpartum—so you can approach this season with more confidence, clarity, and care for yourself.
What’s Included/Discussion Topics:
● We’ll take a midwifery-centered approach to postpartum healing, focusing on the first six weeks after birth.
● Learn about what to expect postpartum: How much bleeding is normal? What is typical for perineal tear healing? What about breast pain from engorgement and nipple discomfort? What are normal expectations for postpartum emotions, sleep, and nutrition?
● Come away with ideas on how to plan for success, and a list of helpful items to have on hand.
